From June 19 to 21, the 12th International Congress of the International Association of Ethics Education will be held at the North Campus of the Anahuac University Mexico. This event will be attended by more than 70 experts in the field, from 22 countries. It will be a space for reflection and international collaboration that we will celebrate within the framework of the 60th anniversary.

Progress in the development of the Ibero-American Bioethics Network Observatory (ORIBI)

The development of ORIBI and the Ibero-American Bioethics Atlas continues, which is a vital tool for inter-institutional linkage and collaboration. On April 17, 2024, the Anahuac Clinical Bioethics and Neuroethics (BINCA) group held its monthly session in which Dr. Ángela Hernández Suárez and teacher Alejandra de la Cruz Romano, experts in physical therapy and rehabilitation, addressed the ethical implications of diagnosing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

Dr. Erika Benítez Camacho, director of the Faculty of Psychology at the Universidad Anáhuac México and advisor to CADEBI, participated in the podcast "Humanity 2.0" which belongs to a chair of Bioethics for All. In this episode, Dr. Benítez talked about suicide prevention, from the complex emotions and thoughts that this act entails, to the myths and tools to recognize red flags and provide the right support.
